Welcome to the GoOFy gROuP 🗿

A place for goofy guys, goofy problems, and goofy questions.

Welcome to the place where logic is optional, bugs are features, and WA is just another form of character development.

🗿 The GoOFy Rules

  • No serious business.
  • No normal people.
  • Goofy problems only.
  • Goofy solutions are strongly encouraged.
  • If your code passes, you are a genius.
  • If your code doesn't pass, the test data is clearly wrong.
  • Skill issue is always a valid explanation.
  • If it works, don't touch it.
  • If it doesn't work, add another if.
  • If that doesn't work, add another if.
  • If that STILL doesn't work, blame long long.
  • Don't overthink it.
  • Overthink it anyway.
  • Have fun.
  • Good luck.
  • Stay goofy.

💻 Coding Philosophy

"It works on my machine."

If it works on the sample:

Accepted.

If it works on random tests:

Probably Accepted.

If it works on your machine but not Codeforces:

Codeforces issue.

If it doesn't compile:

Compiler skill issue.

If it gets TLE:

The CPU needs to think harder.

If it gets MLE:

RAM issue. Buy more.

If it gets WA:

The problem statement is misleading.

If it gets RE:

Free segmentation fault jumpscare.

☠️ The GoOFy Debugging Method

C++
if (wa)
    blame_the_statement();

if (tle)
    add_pragma();

if (mle)
    remove_vector();

if (re)
    pretend_it_never_happened();

if (ac)
    never_touch_the_code_again();

This is not bad programming.

This is advanced competitive programming methodology.

🧠 Motivation

You don't need to be good.

You just need to be less bad than your previous submission.

Every WA makes you stronger.

Every TLE makes you faster.

Every RE makes you question your life choices.

Every AC makes you forget all of them.

And remember:

There is no impossible problem.

There is only:

n too large.

time limit too small.

and skill issue.

🗿 GoOFy Mindset

When someone asks:

"Why does your solution work?"

You answer:

"It passed."

When someone asks:

"What's the complexity?"

You answer:

"Fast enough."

When someone asks:

"Why did you use this algorithm?"

You answer:

"Because the other one didn't work."

When someone asks:

"Can you prove it?"

You answer:

"Trust me bro."

🔥 Final Warning

This group may cause:

  • sudden WA
  • unexpected TLE
  • emotional damage from hidden tests
  • 3 AM debugging sessions
  • unnecessary template optimization
  • excessive use of #pragma GCC optimize
  • blaming the compiler
  • blaming the judge
  • blaming the problem setter
  • and occasionally, actual AC

Enter at your own risk.

Code hard. Fail harder. Stay goofy. 🗿

Welcome to the GoOFy gROuP.

May your code compile, your bugs hide, and your submissions somehow pass.
